Actor John Malkovich joins 'Fantastic Four' cast: reports

LOS ANGELES (TND) — Actor John Malkovich is the latest star to join forces with Marvel Studios, as he has taken a role in the film franchise “The Fantastic Four,” according to multiple reports.

Deadline was the first to report the news, noting that the character Malkovich will portray has not been disclosed yet. The media outlet also reported the theme of the movie, which is set to hit theatres July 25, 2025, is also under wraps.

Malkovich will star in the upcoming movie alongside actors Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, Paul Walter Hauser, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Julia Garner. The movie, according to IMDb, is directed by Matt Shakman.

So far, there have been four other movies in the franise. The action movies are based on the popular Marvel comic strip and feature a team of superheroes.

Malkovich, a two-time Oscar nominee, most recently starred on in Apple TV+’s drama series "The New Look." He portrays Lucien Lelong, a French fashion designer.
