Cape May County Mourns Death Of Loving Dad, Longtime Business Owner Ryan Coffey, 40

A lifetime Cape May County resident, Ryan lived in Del Haven at the time of his passing, his obituary says. He was a flooring installer and business owner who had serviced the area for two decades.

Described as a “man of strength and humility who dedicated his existence to his family,” Ryan embraced his role as a devoted father to his two sons, Ryan and Shane Coffey, his memorial says.

Ryan’s compassionate soul and endless altruism will be forever remembered by all those who knew him.

In addition to his sons, Ryan’s surviving family members include his loving wife, Stephanie Coffey; his sister, Diane Hasling; his brothers-in-law, Steven and Tyler Prince; and many more.

Meanwhile, more than $3,500 had been raised on a GoFundMe launched for the family as of Friday, May 5.

“Ryan has always stepped up to the plate to help the people that he loved and cared about,” reads the campaign. “He was a hard worker, a dedicated husband, a hands-on father and a loyal friend.”

Several heartbreaking tributes hit social media as well:

“Ryan Coffey we love you so much more than you could ever comprehend,” reads a tribute from Stephanie Marie Coffey. “You were our favorite person. This emptiness will never go away.”

Ryan’s memorial was scheduled for Tuesday, April 25 at Ingersoll-Greenwood Funeral Home in North Wildwood.

“Ryan is remembered for his values that made him and the people around him move with an elevated sense of love and passion for those they care for,” Ryan’s obituary says. “His wisdom never trifled and his morals never questioned, Ryan is held close to our hearts forever and always.”
