Suspect in Route 403 body dump, homicide pleads not guilty; will go to trial

Authorities say one of two individuals charged in connection to the death of a Johnstown area man whose body was found dumped along a local roadway over the summer will soon head to trial after pleading not guilty in the case.

Officials say Justin Green appeared in court earlier this week where he entered the plea to all the charges he is facing, which include criminal homicide and abuse of a corpse.

In July, police charged Green and Brooke Pullin in connection to the homicide of 44-year-old Daryl Vincent Lee, whose body was found dumped along Route 403 near the Cambria/Indiana county line.

Police allege that Green admitted to shooting Lee inside a vehicle while the two were traveling together through the Johnstown area.

Authorities say Green allegedly stated he later picked up his girlfriend, Pullin, and their child and they drove to Maryland where he discarded the gun in the Potomac River.

According to online court records, one felony count of robbery was previously dismissed in the case.

Officials say Green's next court date is scheduled for January 3.

Court records also show that Pullin's charges have been waived for court.
